Mackenzie's birthday celebration at Bronte

Mackenzie turns one on June 4th but we celebrated today - our last full day in Sydney. It was beautiful weather - very warm and sunny - a great way to end our trip. We'll miss everyone SOOOOO much..special thanks to Luci and Jo for coming to the party + bringing their kids.

Lila and Angela took a stroll with Sarah + Mack to Coogee Beach. We had a lunch at the playground...Lila watched from the comfort of the Bjorn as Mack and Sarah played with some older boys on the boat...

We all had a lovely evening at Gav + Sophia's beautiful new apartment on Thursday night. Nils, Cath, baby Milo + Uncle Quentin were all there...it was so nice to see everyone...Lila especially loved Milo, who is a month older than she is.

Lila loves Centennial Park

Nonnie lives very close to Centennial Park - one of the prettiest spots in Sydney. Lila loves walking there + seeing all the crazy Aussie birds, big trees and other babies strolling by.

Lila 'Jet Set' Jones

Just a quick note to confirm that we made it to Sydney. Lila was a perfect traveler + seemed to enjoy life at 38,000 feet. She slept most of the way + got lots of oooohs' and ahhhhs' from the flight attendants and other passengers. Heading to Oz tonight

Lila has spent some time listening to Men at Work with her kangaroo to get in the mood for her 14.5 hour flight to Sydney. She's looking forward to meeting lots of new people - especially her cousins Francesca, Alexandra and Mackenzie.

3 months old...

Rachel and Eden spent the day with us today...Lila is now nearly the same size as Eden (Eden was born on 12/24) + both girls seemed to enjoy each other's company...We're looking forward to lots more visits!

Lila and Ravi had some good times in the Gimini and a few good looks at each other...It was great to meet the little man and spend a couple of hours with Gina...Maybe next time we'll meet in much warmer SoCal!

Lila's US passport is being processed + better be here soon. The girls take off for Sydney on May 12th. Dad comes a week later + Karl gets to go to stay with his dog sitter Heather...don't feel too sorry for Karl. He's always depressed when he comes home from Heather's house (yard, other dogs, etc)
