Lila's got wings

Lila and Angela fly to Oregon tomorrow morning (6:15 ugh) to see Lila's grandparents, meet her uncle, aunt and cousins and even her great grandma Katie...no blog updates from Oregon...Check back on July 9th for highlights from the trip...

Dad likes to start the day with a little Lila dance action....This song is from the little known sequel to The Rocky Horror Picture Show...And despite what you may think, Lila likes this little ritual too. ;)

A natural born yogi...

Lila and Angela went to yoga for the first time today. Lila was the only baby in class + put on a very good show for the teacher and two other mothers there. She talked for almost the entire 1.5 hours + at one point rolled over. The teacher was impressed. Very glad the other students have babies at home because they didn't seem to mind the babble!

Lila goes to the SF MOMA

Lila and I took in the Frida Kahlo exhibit this morning...Lila was out of her stroller, in my arms and looking at everything...She was voicing a lot of opinions about the artwork + talking quite loudly. (Luckily she's cute, so the other museum goers didn't seem to mind.) She really seemed to connect with the Frida + those famous eyebrows.. ;) For those of you in SF, this is a great exhibit + well worth the crowds.

Today Lila grabbed her rattle + shook it for the first time....she was very pleased with herself ;)

"Take me out to the ball game..."

Last night we took Lila to her first Giants game. Brendan's company had a box for the night, which is a great way to watch the game - very cozy...sadly our Giants lost...

"Hey what are you guys doing in my bed?!?!"

Lila is out of the tiny bassinet in our room and into a big crib in her own room...she seems to love the new space + wants dad to hang the toy holder asap so the animals have somewhere else to sleep....what can we say? she's an independent woman.

Lila and I have been enjoying the rare SF summer weather the past couple of days. This is a shot of us lying in Union Square + the trees above. I people watch, Lila tree watches....

Our computer is not doing very well + so I won't be posting for awhile.

But some GREAT news to share...Barry is recovering + should be out of the hospital this weekend.

Little Lila has been a trooper, she's fighting her first cold. ;( Poor little lady...

Will be back with more posts when Lila and the computer have recovered.

All our thoughts and prayers are with Barry today...he's recovering from heart surgery at Prince Albert Hospital.

Alita gave Lila this cute Babushka + she loves it almost as much as she loved her trip. We are back in SF and unpacking all Lila's new things very slowly! (that top shot is obviously Alita NOT the babushka ;)

Final goodbyes....

Gav + Sophia came over to say goodbye on Sunday morning...And Jo came out to the airport...it was a very sad flight home. :(
