Yesterday Angela stayed home sick. It also happened to be a record-breakingly warm day in the city. The girls enjoyed a walk around the Excelsior, a trip to the park and bowling in the backyard...not bad for a sick day.

Maria and the fairies
The Magical Maria introduced the girls to magic wands and tiaras yesterday...Lila doesn't want to take her's off...who can blame her?
Harper turns one. Cupcakes for all!
Baba and Grandma joined us to celebrate Harper's first birthday on Sunday. It was a great weekend - including a trip to Nordstrom for Harper's first "real" shoes, lovely calls and messages from friends and family overseas and mostly just a lot of time celebrating our sweet, little girl. Lila learned that the next best thing to having your OWN bday is sharing in your sister's big day. xo
