life's a beach.

We took Karl and his 50 foot leash to Ocean Beach for a walk today. This is our last weekend with Karl for a couple of weeks - the girls got to practice getting sand between their toes and dodging a 50 foot leash. Karl got to run, bark and be his beach-self...thanks to the leash B didn't spend the day chasing Karl.

thankful for grandma, baba and santa!

We had a nice visit from Grandma and Baba this Thanksgiving. Lila and Harper enjoyed baking cookies with them and even a trip to see Santa. Harper was a bit nervous about the bearded elf but Lila gave him lots of hugs and told him she wanted a "pink rocket ship" for xmas. Not sure where Santa is going to find that but....we shall see.
